Development Analysis and Policy Suggestions for Energy Saving Systems of Building

Abstract:

Construction industry consumes a high quantity of energy. In order to effectively reduce energy consumption and comprehensively promote the energy conservation of this industry, corresponding governmental policies are required for restraint and guidance. Through the study of the infancy, development and intensification of energy conservation policies in construction industry, this paper analyses the effects and defects the policies at those diverse stages, discusses the development policies which has promoted energy conservation in China’s construction industry, and proposes specific suggestions for policy making, which help ease the tense relationship between economic development and energy shortage, and realize the sustainable development of construction industry.
