Natural Convection Heat Transfer in Two-Square Duct Annuli Filled with a Nanofluid

Article Preview

Abstract:

The problem of natural convection fluid flow and heat transfer of TiO2-water nanofluid inside of two differentially-heated square ducts is analysed numerically by finite difference method. The outer duct is maintained at a constant temperature Tc, while the inner duct is kept at higher constant temperature Th. The effect of the Rayleigh number, Ra and the nanoparticle volume fraction, φ on the heat transfer and Nusselt number, Nu are investigated and compared to previous study.
