Energy Service Contracts: Russian Practices

Abstract:

The article investigates the problem of legislation in the field of energy conservation and provides an assessment of several of new legislation acts and development prospects. The authors analyze the Russian practice of energy service contracts, problems of contracts' content, as well as a subject of contracts. The authors investigate the possibility of adaptation of contractual structures, such as performance-contract that is used in an international energy services practice.
