Behaviour of Fans during the Football Match

Article Preview

Abstract:

There is an area at each football match, where the core team supporters (a.k.a Ultras) are located. These visitors are actively supporting their club (like jumping, bouncing, jouncing, swaying or abruptly rising, etc.), which can cause bigger or smaller grandstands vibrations. The performed experiment was focused on places with the most actives fans. At first place, the root cause of the vibrations was monitored (motion of the supporters, number of them match statistics), at second place the result of their actions (vibration of the grandstands). This article describes the vibration root cause (fans behaviours) during one match.
