Nondestructive Monitoring Experiments on Length of CFG Piles by GPR

Article Preview

Abstract:

In this paper, the combination of antenna array detection method of ground penetrating radar is put forward to solve the actual engineering problem that it is difficult to monitor the length of CFG pile. The experiments of length of six CFG piles find that the relative error of the length is 5.26%. The result indicates that it is enough reliable to determine the pile length by using the GPR method and can meet the engineering needs. Furthermore, the effect of the mix proportion, moisture content on the monitoring quality is obtained.
