Applied Mechanics and Materials
This collection, of contributions reviewed by international experts, covers: Road and Railway Engineering, Transportation Planning, Construction and Operation Organization, Modern Logistics System Planning and Optimization, Vehicle Engineering, Carrier Operation Engineering, ITS Theory and Applications, Traffic Control and Information Technology, Transportation and Social Economic Development, Low-Carbon Transportation Technology and Urban Transportation Planning and Management. It provides many valuable insights.
The aim of this special volume was to facilitate the exchange of information concerning the best practices for CAD, CAM, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Modeling and Simulation, etc. It provided the opportunity for engineers and scientists in academia, industry, and government to address the most innovative research and developments, including technical challenges, social and economic issues, and to discuss ideas, results, work-in-progress and experience touching all aspects of Computer-Aided Design, Manufacturing, Modeling and Simulation.
These proceedings of the 2011 International Conference on Applied Mechanics and Manufacturing Technology (AMMT’11) focused on applied mechanics and its application to manufacturing technology, and thus provided a forum within which researchers and practitioners could exchange research results and share developmental experiences in these fields. The contents represent a timely survey of the subjects covered.
This volume comprises a selection of 202 papers covering all of the latest advances and developments in design, modeling and analysis, materials manufacturing and testing, and their engineering applications in power transmission systems. It will provide readers with a broad overview of recent progress and achievements in the field of power transmission.
The aim of this special volume was to facilitate the exchange of information on the best practices for Sustainable Power, Sustainable Materials, Green Manufacturing Technology and Applications, etc. It provides an opportunity for engineers and scientists, in academia, industry and government, to address the most innovative research and development ideas, including technical challenges, social and economic issues, and to discuss ideas, results, work-in-progress and experience concerning all aspects of Green Power, Materials and Manufacturing Technology and Applications. The work offers the reader a wealth of ideas.
This work consists of 48 peer-reviewed papers which were selected from those presented at the International Conference on Experimental Mechanics 2010 (ICEM10), held on the 29th November to 1st December 2010, at the Legend Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The papers cover the latest research results on experimental mechanics, and offer a timely overview of the subject.
Volume is indexed by Thomson Reuters CPCI-S (WoS).
In common with previous Protect workshops, this book contains over 100 peer-reviewed papers, originating from about 30 countries on 5 continents, that collectively provide an excellent snapshot of the state-of-the-art of this field and highlight some remarkable modern developments.
This work, with its 265 peer-reviewed papers, aims to address the hottest issues in materials and mechanics. It covers a wide range of topics in those areas; including materials science, mechanical engineering and materials, industrial applications of materials and mechanics, etc.: a useful and timely guide to the subject matter.
