The papers collected in this edition were presented at the 8th International Congress on Thermal Sciences, AMT (April 25-26, 2024), co-organized by the Moroccan Association of Thermal Sciences (AMT) and Laboratory of Experimentation and Modeling in Mechanics and Energy Systems (E2MSE) at the National School for Applied Sciences (ENSA) of Al-Hoceima, Abdelmalek Essaâdi University under the main topic “Thermal sciences at the core of energy transition”. This edition will be helpful for engineers and academics in thermal engineering, mechatronics, materials science and technology, construction and plasma engineering.

This edition contains papers that were presented at the 9th International Conference on Building Materials and Materials Engineering (ICBMM) and the 7th International Conference on Nanomaterials, Materials and Manufacturing Engineering (ICNMM), which were held on 16-18 October 2025, Naples, Italy. The publication is devoted to the latest findings, innovative ideas, and advancements in building materials and materials engineering, nanomaterials, and manufacturing engineering.

The 29th International ESAFORM Conference on Material Forming (ESAFORM 2026, Thessaloniki, Greece, from 27 to 29 April 2026) is a joint scientific event of the oldest and most prestigious Mechanical Engineering academic schools in Greece, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the National Technical University of Athens, respectively. The 14th International Conference on Nanostructures, Nanomaterials and Nanoengineering (ICNNN 2025) and the 10th International Conference on Materials Technology and Applications (ICMTA 2025) were held in Kyoto, Japan, from October 29th to 31st, 2025 and had aims to provide a platform for presentation results of innovative research works in nanostructures, nanomaterials and nanoengineering, materials and technology of their processing and applications.

This book presents selected peer-reviewed contributions from the international conference Metallography; Fractography 2025, held in April 2025 in the High Tatra Mountains, the Slovak Republic. The conference aims to provide a forum for discussing recent advances in metallography, fractography, and materials science and engineering.
