Surface Treatment of Concrete Roof Tiles

Article Preview

Abstract:

Therein the application of special inorganic binders onto a freshly prefabricated surface of concrete roof tiles for the purpose of improving the quality of surface properties is reported. The possibilities of preparation of polymer-cement matrix with improvement gained from plasticizers are discused to obtain sprayable coating for roof tiles. Use of sprayable coating leads to smoothing of surface defects generated from previous processing of roof tiles thus improving the quality of surface leading to better durability of roof tiles with just a low increase of manufacturing cost.
