Study on Aerosol Particles Thermophoretic and Diffusiophoretic Deposition

Abstract:

A model of aerosol particles being removed from high temperature and humidity gas when passing across cooling walls is constructed, which takes thermophoretic deposition and diffusiophoretic deposition into consideration. The axial distribution of the temperature, humidity and aerosol concentration of the gas can be obtained from this model. The simulated prediction matches well with the experimental data from the literature[1]. The key factors which affect the aerosol particles deposition efficiency under different humidity conditions have also been revealed.
