Effects of Heat Transfer in Closed Cavity with Different Arrange Forms of Heater

Article Preview

Abstract:

By using the method of finite element, a numerical simulation of heat transfer of the compressed air in a closed square cavity with high temperature heater. Analyze the effects of heat transfer performance, temperature and flow field in closed cavity with different arrangement of heater. Provide a basis for optimizing heater arranged location. The transfer area of heater is the same. And the structure form of the heater includes quadrilateral centered, cross centered and piecewise evenly arranged. Heating efficiency is highest when the heater quadrilateral centered and when heater cross centered, the temperature of the cavity is best in the horizontal direction
