The Calculating Benchmark Selection and its Skills in Chemical Engineering Calculation

Abstract:

Chemical engineering calculation is the base of chemical engineering science, the material balance and the energy balance are the most basic and important contents in chemical engineering calculation. The diversification and the importance of calculating benchmark in chemical engineering calculation were explained by an example about the material balance; the basic principles, some specific methods and skills for the calculating benchmark selection were pointed out. In short, the proper selection of calculating benchmark in chemical engineering calculation can not only simplify the calculation and improve the efficiency, but also avoid the errors.
