Abstract: Largely used in industry field, bearing is one of the most vulnerable components in an equipment. Owing to the complicated and nonlinear relationship between features and corresponding specific fault, it is less efficient to diagnosis the faults in tradition ways ,especially to deal with the fault of a mega machine. BP neural network whose strength is to solve the nonlinear problems makes it more precise and efficient to determine the fault of bearing. Conjugate gradient algorithm is proposed as the training method of the BP neural network. Compared with standard training method, conjugate gradient has the advantage of training speed and generalization ability, which is confirmed by the results of neural network model whose inputs are common bearing fault samples.

Abstract: Due to adopt manual startup standby generator set in society,operating personnel can't immediately start the standby generator set after the power failure occurs.Aimed at this problem,a scheme of the standby generator set smartphone remote control system based on Android was proposed.Firstly,the hardware platform of system was introduced and overall remote control system was designed.Based on this, the application software was developed by Android SDK,which was consisted of four modules,The realization of functionality and interface of every module were analyzed in detail.The research results indicate that the system is easy operation, friendly interface,and has good stability and availability.

Abstract: Based on graphic program language LabVIEW and Micro Control Unit MSP430F169, an intelligent electrical resistivity measurement system with four-point probe and four-line was studied in this paper. Structured Query Language of LabVIEW was applied for calibration and management in database. Hardware feedback and software compensation technologies were designed in high-precision current source, whose range was automatic selected in auto-mode. Between the computer program and hardware control unit controlled by MCU, a RS-232 data communication protocol was applied in order to improve the ability of human-machine interaction and automation degree. Experiment results in semiconductor and metal material science indicated that the measurement system measured accurately and automotive, the information database of the tested material was the foundation of data analyzing and data mining.

Abstract: In view of the continuous unmanned machining of revolving workpiece, this paper has integrated the industrial robot with machine vision, mill-turning center and trigger online measurement systems into an intelligent machining cell. It has achieved the automatic loading and unloading material, automatic adjustment of the Machine Coordinate System (MCS) of workblank, automatic compensation of machining errors and workpiece diameter and roundness of the on-machine inspection. In order to ensure the accuracy of continuous unmanned machining of the intelligent machining cell, the main factors that affect the accuracy of online measurement system and the corresponding solutions are analyzed. On this basis, a machining instance is made to verify the validity of the trigger online measurement technique’s application in continuous unmanned machining of the revolving workpiece. The results of this study show that the intelligent machining cell can ensure stable unmanned machining with high precision for several hours.

Abstract: To successfully achieve high precision machining, process technology and on-machine measurement is essential. On-machine laser measurement will be widely used in industry because it is non-contacting, real-time and high-precision. However, proper method for tool shape monitoring and dimensional control are important to research. In this study, the measurement system consists of a laser light source and a quad photodiode array. And two different edge detection algorithms are introduced to determine the position of the tool edge accurately in order to measure the diameter of cutting tool and errors caused by tool runout. The experimental results verify the validity of measuring tool diameter and runout error.

Abstract: In this paper, color coded structured light based on pseudo-random sequence is adopted, and a new decoding method is proposed. It includes three steps. First, the stripe centers are extracted through the use of peak detection. Second, the stripe colors are identified using k-means clustering algorithm on a new color feature with high discriminating power. This feature is related to the spectral sensitivity of red, green and blue sensors, the direction of the illumination source, the normal and albedo of the surface, and the spectral power distribution of the incident light, but it is insensitive to the intensity. Finally, a four-step matching method is presented in sequence matching, which is aim to match the subsequences with the length less than the window size. The experimental results show that our proposed decoding method has advantage of high accuracy.

Abstract: Welding nuts are being used widely in automotive industry as threaded fasteners, its security and reliability requests are increasingly high. Accurate and quick detection results for surface quality can be obtained by using machine vision. Image edge detection by Canny operator has stronger acclimatization in anti-jamming and accurate edge localization. In order to suppress noise in maximum, an improved method is put forward to calculate the gradient of Canny operator, introducing Robert cross gradient in 3×3 neighborhood when calculating the gradient magnitude in finite difference method. The experimental results show that the improved Canny operator makes more effectively on the surface detection of welding nuts.

Abstract: Vision measurement for non-cooperative targets in space is an essential technique in space counterwork, fragment disposal, satellite on-orbit service, spacecraft rendezvous, because the position and attitude of the target aircraft or the object should be detected first of all in the process. The 2D passive camera loses the depth information and can not measure the position and attitude of non-cooperative target. Several kinds of range imaging methods are alternatives. The traditional triangulation method can provide very high precision range measurement at close range but the nature of the triangulation geometry means that the uncertainty grows when the range increases. Laser radar (LIDAR) based on TOF (time of flight) or phase difference principle is suitable for middle and long range, but it can not fit for short range. A novel structure system is put forward, in which a so-called synchronous scanning triangulation method is adopted combining a LIDAR system. The synchronous scanning triangulation system plays a role at the range from 0.5m to 10m for object’s attitude, and the LIDAR system plays a role at the range from 10m to 200m for object’s position (direction and range).They are merged into one path, and do not influence each other because of using two different wavelengths respectively. This mechanism makes the system more compact and less weight. The system performances, such as the measurement range and precision, are analyzed according to the system parameters. The principle prototype is designed and established, and the experimental results confirm that its performance is promising and can satisfy the requirement for space application.

Abstract: With the development of the LED bulb assembly line, the demand of the production line monitoring system is getting higher and higher. A real-time LED bulb assembly line monitoring system based on the OPC technology and Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 software is established. The real-time data of the LED bulb assembly line is provided to achieve the function which concludes alarming, scheduling, showing and so on. LED bulb assembly line monitoring system provides the strong safeguard for the smooth operation of production line.
