Design of Ka-Band Conformal Microstrip Patch Antenna

Article Preview

Abstract:

It is very difficult to accurately analyze the performance of the antenna conformed to the elastomer because of the complex structure. Conformal coordinate method is an effective method for analyzing the complex structure of the antenna. Based on the conformal coordinate method, the millimeter-wave monolithic conformal microstrip antenna is analyzed in this paper. Using the traditional way of microstrip-fed - the middle microstrip feeding, we design the microstrip patch unit. Then we use the HFSS to simulate the antenna.
