Construction on the Automation and Digitization of Network for University Library

Abstract:

Along with the popularization of computer and network in all aspects of people’s social life and the combination of computer technology with communication technology, here comes a new information age and network times. People’s need of information characterizes multiple levels and diversity. University library as the information center has to speed up the construction on the automation and digitization of network in order to offer high-quality and high-efficiency information service to meet the readers’ demand of individual information.The principle purpose of information construction of university library is to mine, acquire and spread knowledge to the utmost extent, to provide a platform for readers to share information and to offer them the best service.
