Construction on Evaluation Index System of Urban Livability

Abstract:

Starting from the study of achievements at home and abroad, the writer discusses the connotation of the urban livability. On basis of comparative analysis about every method of evaluation livable city, the principles about evaluation index system of urban livability are setup. The paper builds urban livability evaluation index system, whose coverage is more complete and operability is more convenient, which are consisted of 7 criteria level indexes, 24 field level indexes and 81 index level indexes. The system has an important significance for scientific evaluation urban livability.
