Abstract: This paper presents a Differential Search Algorithm for solving a multi-objective Optimal Power Flow (OPF) in support of power system operation and control . The multi-objective OPF was formulated for tackling with total generation cost and environmental impacts simultaneously. The proposed method was applied to the standard IEEE 30-bus test system. The results show that solving the multi-objective OPF problem by the Differential Search Algorithm is more effective than other swarm intelligence methods in the literature.

Abstract: Now micro-blog media is growing fast and micro-blog short text has also become a new type of information carrier. User’s sentiment orientation and emotion of the topic or event in a large number of user’s micro-blog, can not only provide decision-making basis in business but also provide support for government's public opinion monitoring. During micro-blog emotion classification, characteristic information is extracted directly influences the classification effect. This paper uses emotional sentences, emotional symbol, emotional word polarity and other emotional information as classification feature, and use NLP&CC Chinese micro-blog sentiment analysis evaluation standard segmentation of emotion in the polarity based emotion. This paper proposed the Chinese micro-blog sentiment classification based on the feature of amorous feeling. Parallel tests suggested that this method has better classification results, and has verified when micro-blog text’s emotional level is higher, the effect of the method is better.

Abstract: A large number of beacon nodes will be applied to the weighted centroid localization algorithm, but too much hardware facilities will affect the efficiency of the algorithm. Using the cosine theorem, On the basis of the original beacon nodes, add some virtual static beacon nodes to participate in orientation, It can reduce the hardware cost required for positioning. In addition, the math on and analysis of the localization algorithm, by derivative principle explaining the weight coefficient and RSSI ranging influence on localization algorithm. Simulation experiments show that the weighted centroid algorithm based on VSBN needed fewer beacon nodes, high positioning accuracy.

Abstract: Vessel survey is a kind of technical method to ensure the health and safety of the vessel. The main purpose of the paper is to find a way to extract workflow of vessel survey field operation (VSFO) directly from rule-based document (RBD) of the field, introduces the relevant researches on the vessel survey field, and analyzes the novel way to improve the quality of vessel survey via intelligentized aided technologies. The establishment of VSFO workflow is treated as the major concern in the work, and relative studies in other fields are introduced. After the comparison, three characteristics of VSFO workflow are discussed. On the basis of previous studies, a semantic approach of the establishment is proposed, and the whole process consists of several steps. Firstly, the structure of RBD in vessel survey is discussed; meanwhile, vessel survey domain ontology (VSDO) is built with rules in RBD. Secondly, the classification algorithm is designed with the original framework provided by domain experts. Finally, the distance calculation of clustering is divided into three parts: reachable distance, structural complexity and survey content complexity.

Abstract: The waste generated by industries has been an environmental problem to be solved, even in timber chain, whereas the wood has a high potential of reuse. This paper aimed to collect and disseminate the data obtained on lignocellulosic waste generation produced by manufacturers of wood houses located at Brazilian state of Paraná. This information could help the companies with new discussions on the reuse of this waste. A simple survey composed by three questions was applied in the companies in order to verify the current situation of the theme. After the examination, it was checked that many industries do not have the habit to reuse their residual raw materials, and also all these companies do not have any type of periodic evaluation about waste generation, nor they have any kind of waste separation and quantification.

Abstract: The objective of this research is to improve process capability and reduce production cost related to thickness of paint from Electro Deposition Painting (EDP) process. To achieve the objective, Six Sigma method was applied to find out the optimal setting of significant process factors, which are concentration of pigment in EDP paint, dipping time, and dipping voltage. Design of experiment technique with Central Composite Design type helped indicate the optimal setting of the three factors, which yielded the target EDP coating thickness with a minimal production cost. With this optimal setting, the process capability index (Cpk) increased from 0.61 to 1.99, and the production cost is expected to reduce by 1,730,498 THB per year.

Abstract: Increasing population and urbanization pose more and more threats to urban river. Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) is possible framework to solve water resource management problems through cross-sectional cooperation, but the vagueness in this concept make its application difficult. This paper focuses on urban river management practices in China and classified the government-guided cross-sectional urban river management projects to a special pattern of IWRM (GIWRM). It is proved to be effective in synthesizing efforts of different government departments, industry and the public and improve the urban river conditions a lot.
