Flotation Research of Three Polymorph of Serpentine Minerals

Article Preview

Abstract:

It is known that serpentine slimes coating on the sulphide surfaces are responsible for the poor metallurgy. Antigorite, lizardite and chrysotile are three kind of important polymorph of serpentine minerals. The three serpentine minerals usually accompany with Sulfide minerals, having ions with equal activities or similar properties on the surface, which makes the flotation separation difficult. This paper was to identify the effect of ethyl xanthate interactions on the flotation of three kind of polymorph of serpentine minerals.
