Experimental Study of Mineral Polymer Made from Iron Tailing

Article Preview

Abstract:

Iron tailing is a kind of waste after extracting iron element. It caused a series of environmental problems. In this paper, it was used to make mineral polymer. After activation of it, the product compressive strength reached 70.46MPa when the dosage of iron tailing was 70%, sodium hydroxide 50% and the solid-liquid ratio was 0.4. This experimental study provides a good basis for the utilization of iron tailing.
