Energy Conservation Analysis of VRV Air Conditioning System with Heat Recovery Ventilation in a Chinese Hotel Building

Article Preview

Abstract:

The effect of heat recovery ventilation on indoor temperature, carbon emissions and energy efficiency of variable refrigerant volume (VRV) system in a hotel building were investigated. The distribution of temperature in different zones of the building was tested, and energy consumption of this VRV system was analyzed. The results show that the VRV air conditioning system can meet the heating and cooling request of many rooms while at the same time maintain high energy efficiency. This system reduces thermal pollution for the outdoor environment greatly. It is one kind of highly effective energy conversion and utilization system.
