Synthesized WO3/ZrO2 Nanocomposite as the Catalyst for Preparation of Peracetic Acid

Article Preview

Abstract:

Nanosized material tungstate zirconia (WO3/ZrO2) was prepared by surfactant -assisted precipitation. Structural characterizations of the catalyst were performed by N2 adsorption– desorption and FTIR pyridine adsorption spectroscopy. Preparation of peracetic acid (PAA) from acetic acid (AA) and hydrogen peroxide (HP) under the catalysis of Lewis acid WO3/ZrO2 was investigated.
