Research and Creation of Printing-Like Effect Digital Jacquard Fabric

Abstract:

In this paper, innovative design of printing-like effect digital jacquard fabric based on layered-combination design mode is introduced with proper design illustrations. Directly borrowed from layered design method of digital image and corresponding color theory, the innovative design method theoretically can be divided into colorless mode and colorful mode two parts. Following design method of full-color compound structure invented specially for layered-combination design mode, several colorless single-layer structures can be combined to form a full-color compound structure, which enables digital jacquard fabric to express printing-like effect with mega-level mixed colors. The results of study provided the possibility of opening creative horizon and aesthetical dimension for jacquard fabric design.
