Study on a Novel Single-Stage QR PFC Converter

Article Preview

Abstract:

A novel quasi-resonant single-stage single-switch PFC flyback converter is analyzed. By the additional winding, power factor correction can be achieved, and the topology can be simplified. The circuit can work in quasi-resonant mode, so the switching loss is reduced. By means of digital frequency reduction, the efficiency of the converter is improved further.
