Dynamic Model Design and Tests on a Heterotypic CFST Arch Bridge

Article Preview

Abstract:

The main bridge structure of the bridge engineering cross Yitong river, on the 102 national road, is a three-Span flying swallow type special-shaped CSFT arch bridge. This paper introduces the design, process and a result of the dynamic model test of the CFST arch bridge, and introduces the dynamic test of the bridge.

[1] While CP stands for the elastic stress similarity coefficient, CE stands for the elastic modulus, Cl stands for the geometrical similarity coefficient, Cρ stands for the material density similarity coefficient, and Ct as the time similarity coefficient. Assume that the model and the original structure use the same material, then CE=Cρ=1, thus the frequency similarity coefficient can be deducted as follow equations (refer with: Eq. 2) [[] Yue Feng: Proceedings of the Fourth International Conference on Advances in Steel Structures, 2005: 1663-1667 ]
