Analysis of Vertical Response in Suspended Structures Subjected to Vertical Seismic Force

Article Preview

Abstract:

In this paper, the series-parallel-connection model with considering joint rotation has been established on the suspended structure which is simplified. The mass matrix has been established using the method of consistent mass, and dynamic matrix of structure is predigest through dynamic force condensing, the vertical stiffness matrix and mass matrix have been obtained. There has been a dynamic characteristics analysis of suspended structure subjected to vertical seismic force with the method of analysis of step-by step integer. From the result some dynamic characters of suspended structure under vertical seismic force have been obtained.
