Study on Treatment of Wastewater from the Production of PolyTHF with Iron-Carbon Micro-Electrolysis-Biological Method

Article Preview

Abstract:

Abstract: the process condition of combined treatment of wastewater produced from the polytetrahydrofuran (PolyTHF) with iron-carbon micro-electrolysis-biological method was studied, and the results showed that with Fe-C proportion of 1:1, pH value of about 3.0 and contact time of 30min, the wastewater CODcr removal rate could reach higher than 75% when 0.15g/ml of Fe-C was input, thus the biodegradability of wastewater was greatly improved. After treatment, the wastewater was treated with biological method with a water outlet COD less than 100mg/L, conforming to the first-level quality of national stipulation about comprehensive discharge standard of sewage.
