Study on Reproduction of Color Information of Print Media Based on Chromaticity Measurement

Abstract:

This article is to study, under the same conditions, the color reproduction which were used coated paper, matte paper and special paper separately, with Bangte ink or Daiichi ink, printed by Mitsubishi printing machine. Then the Lab values of the three sheets of blank paper and the four-color color were measured by spectrophotometric densitometer,and analysed by Excel, meanwhile, drawing the colors maps and the chromatic aberration maps. Base on the data and maps, illustrate the three types of paper and two kinds of ink coloration and chromatic aberration, and come to conclusion to control the stability of ink and paper, improve the standardization and accuracy, decrease the error.
