FE Analysis of Reinforced Treatment of Abutment Foundation in Soft Soil

Abstract:

The treatment of soft soil foundation is a common but hot and difficult problem in the construction projects. Based on the reinforced treatment of abutment foundation in Fuyan Bridge and the hypothesized different treatment measures, settlement deformation of abutment foundation was calculated and analyzed by means of software ANSYS; variations of synthetic modulus for foundation soil and curves of settlement deformation of abutment foundation were obtained, which offers references to the design and construction of such projects.
