An Improved Congestion Algorithm Based on HSTCP

Article Preview

Abstract:

A congestion algorithm based on HSTCP has been studied in this paper. In order to find the way to solve the TCP Non-Friendly of HSTCP, an mechanism W-HSTCP has been use to improve the existing algorithm, and the new algorithm can been applied in High-Speed network.. The idea of WI-HSTCP is to readjust the transformation of the traditional TCP model, and the simulation of new algorithm has been performed. The simulation result indicated that the better scheduling performance has been achieved by using the new algorithm.
