Mechanism Study of Arch Dam

Abstract:

Through study of abutment force we can find mechanism of arch dam during process of overloading. It does elastic-plastic analysis by FEM, research shows that: arch dam abutment force first increase and then decrease from the top to the bottom of the dam.
