Application of Constant Modulus Algorithm on the Civil Aviation VHF Radio Interference Suppression

Article Preview

Abstract:

In the Air Traffic Control (ATC) communication system of Civil Aviation, the radio interference has become a big problem to the safety of the flight airplanes in recent years. In this paper, we propose an adaptive interference canceling technology to take radical measures to solve the problem. We separate the interference signals and the desired signals with the Constant Modulus (CM) Algorithm, and then get the training signals on the assumption of that the signal is not the CM signal and the interference is CM signal. The study has very important practical value because our research work is doing around the difficulties disturbing civil air management department.
