Research on Planning of Hybrid Hot Charge Rolling Base on Specific Reheating Furnaces

Abstract:

The advantages of hybrid HCR have not been fully displayed because recently planning and scheduling of hot strip mill seldom consider how to avoid slabs with extremely different temperatures charging into the same reheating furnace. In this paper, the method base on specific reheating furnaces is proposed and both ant colony algorithm and simulation method are designed to solve the problem. Production data from one steel company is used for model validation.
