Abstract:

Uyghur carpet is spun by folk artists with exquisite workmanship and enjoys high appreciation from both domestic and foreign consumers with its particularly chosen fabric and exquisite weaving technique. Uyghur carpet has distinct national characteristics and intense local color, so it is renowned as “Oriental” carpet with unique style. This article focuses on the account of the history, craftsmanship and pattern of Uyghur carpet.
