Discussion on the Sustainability of Stainless Steel Applied in Architecture

Abstract:

Stainless steel develops in 21th century, which further extends its application in architectural industry and fields of structure. Based on the idea of sustainable development, this paper analyses the outstanding features that stainless steel possesses compared with other metal materials, trying to apply for a general outline for architect and those concerned. It examines the sustainability of the application of stainless steel, and matters needing attention in architectural design, and it prospects the outlook of stainless steel.
