Influence of Different Type Winding Clamps on a Transformer Losses

Article Preview

Abstract:

A 3D model is given for a three phase three limbs transformer, based on finite element method, the magnetic fields distribution are simulated, losses in metallic structure such as clamps, flitch plates and oil tank are analysed, the influence of winding clamp’s shapes on these losses are studied.
