Abstract:

At present, there is much difficulty in choosing appropriate logistic outsourcing service for enterprises, which may even result in logistic failures. One major reason for that is the lack of strong theoretical guidance in logistic outsourcing and in the choosing of a service provider that is adapted to the enterprises development. To solve this problem, this paper constructs the indexes system of service provider choice and evaluation based on the following four aspects: logistic cost, logistic operational efficiency, service provider’s individual quality and capability. The analytic hierarchy process is used in the selection of service provider. And company Z is taken as an example in the calculation. By doing so, this paper constructs a comparatively integrated framework for the selection of logistic outsourcing service provider, perfects the evaluation system of it and provides enterprises with a set of scientific evaluation methods in choosing service provider.
