The Development and Application of Geographical Information System in Rural Distribution Network

Abstract:

Because rural distribution network has complex structure and various operation management things, geographic information system is the effective means to display the operation conditions and to improve the management efficiency of rural distribution network. In this paper, we studied and developed the PowerWEBGIS system based on WEB and specially used the technology of combining with the real-time monitoring system, which is more suitable for the rural distribution network management. The effectiveness of this system has been confirmed through its application in the several power supply companies.
