Study and Current Environmental Situations Evaluation on an Expanding Project of Coal Gangue Power Plant
Abstract:
To assess environmental feasibility of Expanding Project of Heilongjiang Dadong Coal Gangue Power Plant (EPHDCGPP) and predict it’s influence to ambient, according to government laws, codes and regulations such as 《The Specific Guide to Environmental Impact Assessment》 and technical features of the project, the range, grade, standards and factors of current situations evaluation were determined. And then the current situations on air, surface water and noises were measured. The results indicates that the shared rates of TSP, SO2 and NO2 are 66.08%, 15.11% and 18.81% respectively in which TSP dominates. TSP pollution is nearly saturated. SO2 and NO2 pollution still have some carrying capacity. Polluting indexes exceeded standards are SS, Volatilize phenol, DO, CODMn and BOD5. This indicates that local Mudong River has been seriously polluted. Noise values in day time are less than 55 dB(A) and values in night are less than 45 dB(A) . This indicates that the remained carrying capacity of acoustic environment is still big. All this work laid a sound foundation for later environmental influence prediction and appraisal.
