Analysis on Efficiency and Application of Water-Saving Ship Lock in Inland Navigation

Article Preview

Abstract:

The research of Yingpan shiplock has shown that the water-saving ship lock can not only decrease ship lock consuming water, but also lower ship lock working head so as to simplify hydraulics technical problems. In this paper the relationship between the area of storage pool, steps of storage pool and water-saving efficiency was deduced detailed based on the principle of water-saving ship lock. And that the paper has analysed the general application prospect of water-saving ship lock in inland river navigation.
