Application of Ecological Building Materials to Building Skins Design and Thoughts Thereon

Abstract:

As people’s aesthetic requirements on building change, building skins is drawing more and more attention, and the study on its material carrier will greatly promote expression of skin design. By taking the application of ecological building materials to building skins as studying mainline, the article points out the innovative application and expression of new ecological materials to skin design, and summarizes the diversity and development trend of ecological skin material based on technical support. At the same time, the paper also reflects in artistry and technicality and the revelation gained from new ecological building skins studies, and proposes suggestions about how to make technical, humanity, environmental protecting, spiritual and artistic ecological building skins materials.
