Study on the Morphological Characteristics of Shuiyuguan Dashuigou Ravine in Shanxi Province

Abstract:

This paper focuses on the study of Shuiyuguan Dashuigou basin in Jiaocheng County, Shanxi Province. Through geological surveys in this basin, the author does overall analysis on the classifications of the ravines, causes, lithology conditions and structure, and comparative study on the changes in catchment areas in different ravines. The functions of slopes and gullies in the evolution of landform and current spatial difference in the incision degree by the channel basin have been revealed, then the resources of sediment and landforms to be renovated have been identified , so as to provide theoretical basis for geological disaster preventing.
