Reflection on the Rationality of Rural Settlements Clustering on the Background of Urban-Rural Integration

Abstract:

Aiming at promoting the rationalization of rural settlements clustering and protecting farming culture which is the core of rural characteristics, the current thesis analyzed the problems existing in village removal and merging, which, in a “Great Leap Forward” way, in the urbanization process, and points out the importance to maintain the characteristics of rural settlements, and proposed that the promotion of rural settlements should be base on full proof and scientific judgment, avoid artificially growth, and focus on the construction of clustering capacity. The idea not only enriches the system of the Integration of Urban-Rural, but also provides a realistic guidance for the merging villages at the current stage.
