Abstract:

Geographical distribution of FDI is a significantly basic issue. As different countries and investment environment can influence FDI performance to a large extent. Since BRIC countries have special features, historical endowments and strategic goals, based on which the multinational corporation make different choices on entering host countries. This project analyzed the geographical distribution of BRIC multinational corporations and tried to find out the underlying reasons, concluding that not only historical and cultural factors influenced the geographical distribution, but also the comparative advantages of the home countries.
