Research on Agricultural Ecology Video Monitoring Systems Based on the Internet of Things

Abstract:

More attention has been paid to the long-distance video monitoring systems with the development of the Internet of things recently, especially much more increasing concern took place in application of agriculture monitoring systems. An agricultural ecology remote video monitoring system was designed and established using the environment of Microsoft Visual C++6.0 based on Windows XP operating system in this paper. Three key skills including the VFW video capture technology, H.264 video coding/encoding and multi-threading technology are utilized. The transmitting video; audio and text file in the remote video monitoring system are totally realized through VC++ software. The information can be gained; restored and queried through the Internet of things and the ecology garden may also be remote controlled at the same time.
