Experimental Study on Treatment Phenolic Wastewater by Polymerized Silicate Containing Aluminium Sulfate and Magnesium Sulfate
Abstract:
A new inorganic polymer coagulant polymerized silicate containing aluminium sulfate and magnesium sulfate(PAMSS)were prepared. The effects of ratio of magnesium to silicon (Mg/Si), pH, dosage of flocculant, temperature of the wastewater on phenol removal rate were investigated. The results shown that the removal of phenol is more than 80 % when the optimum ratio of magnesium to silicon is 1:1 for PAMSS, the amount of PAMSS added is 11 ml/100ml water, pH value of water is 7,the temperature of wastewater is 40 °C.
