Research on Domain-Driven Modular Design of the Seeker in 3D Environment

Article Preview

Abstract:

In order to improve the design efficiency and the derivation speed of the seeker, a method of domain-driven modular design of the seeker is put forward. By introducing the thought of Model Based Design (MBD), the 3D visualization of the seeker’s non-geometric manufacturing information is achieved through integrating the information with the skeleton model, namely integrated skeleton model. The process of the configuration design based on the integrated skeleton model is offered to advance the development of the design concepts in the domain of the seeker. Finally, a design software prototype achieving the proposed method is developed and its validity and practicability is demonstrated by the instance design of the infrared seeker.
