Abstract: In geological disposal of radioactive wastes, the study of Americium migration is very important for the safety evaluation of the repository. The forms of chemical components of Americium presence in aqueous solution that directly affect its migration behavior provide a basis for analog computation of the element. This paper uses PHREEQC, the geochemical model, for analog computation of forms of Americium presence in two types of groundwater, and analyzes the morphologies of the main elements and the influencing factors. The results show that the morphology of Americium is mainly controlled by the characteristics of the chemical composition of groundwater, while the PH value also has a great impact on the forms of Americium presence.

Abstract: Polysaccharide from Acanthopanax obouatus Hoo(AHPs) was extracted with microwave-assisted(MAE). The effects of operating conditions, such as extraction time, ratio of water to raw material , and microwave power, on the extraction yield of AHPs were studied through a Box-Behnken design (BBD). The optimum extraction conditions were as follows: extraction time 13.5min, power 796 W and ratio of water to raw material 16.5ml/g. The yield of polysaccharide was 5.18% based on the above mentioned conditions.

Abstract: A circulating utilization way of herb residues is designed to convert herb residues to gas fuel in industrial-scale by a circulating gasification bed gasifier in this work. The gasification characteristics of herb residues in the circulating fluidized bed of 300kg/h were investigated in about 200 hours. The results indicated that the gas composition and tar yield were affected by oxygen to biomass ratio (O/B ratio). The lower heating value of product gas was 4 to 5MJ/m3 using herb residues as feedstock. When O/B was 0.37, the product gas reached a good condition with lower heating value of 4.89MJ/m3.

Abstract: Ore samples, collected from a lead-zinc oxide ore deposit in Sichuan province, China, are very difficult to treat with such characteristics as low grade, uneven mineral particle distribution and high containing of slime. It is very difficult to separate the lead minerals and zinc minerals, especially for the recovery of zinc oxide minerals. On the basis of flotation characteristics study to gangue and useful minerals, author studied flotation behavior of lead-zinc oxide ore with new collectors (KM21 and YO-1), and carried out the experiment on separating useful minerals from gangue minerals. Test results showed, a lead concentrate with a grade of 59.78 percent and a recovery of 86.49 percent and a zinc concentrate with a grade of 48.53 percent and a recovery of 84.92 percent were obtained from the crude ore with the oxidation rate of 74.34 percent and 89.30 percent of lead and zinc respectively, which realized the high efficient flotation separation of the refractory lead-zinc oxide ores.

Abstract: With the collagen hydrolyzate by alkali extraction from chromium-containing shavings as raw material, the protein leather finishing agent is prepared in this work. The monomers of acrylic acid series and namo-TiO2 are applied in physical and chemical modification of the collagen. The structure of the protein finishing agent is characterized by IR. The optimum technological conditions are determined by the orthogonal tests. The remarkable characteristics of this method were the lower bromine number, the better chemical and mechanical stability, and the better repeatability of the product. The resistance to dry and wet rubbing fastness and water resistance of the protein finishing agent are superior to that of the conventional leather finishing agents. The protein finishing agent has also antimicrobial performance.

Abstract: Lithium and its compounds are important materials in industry. In this paper, lithium recovery methods both from solid ores and brines were summarized, and the key problems existed were also pointed out. More details for lithium recovery from brines by solvent extraction, ion-exchange, precipitation and calcination leaching methods were discussed, and the new trend for lithium recovery in the future was also carried out.

Abstract: The Ti-10Nb-5Sn alloy was heated and cooled repeatedly in a heater system located in transmission electron microscope chamber. The phase and morphology transformation was in situ observed to analyze the transformation mechanism from austenite β to martensite phase. The results reveal that he Ti-10Nb-5Sn alloy has round trip shape memory function.

Abstract: Based on neutral salt spray test and variance analysis, the RE salt compound using in the corrosion inhibitors of copper alloy has been studied. Synergistic effects among the RE salt, benzotriazole and sulfosalicylic acid were conducted through two orthogonal experiments. The results shows that the passive film has a better corrosion resistance after added RE salt, the synergistic effect is obvious in combined copper corrosion inhibitor.
