Dynamic Simulation on Feedwater Heater of Nuclear Power Plant

Article Preview

Abstract:

There is not only the flow of the single-phase fluid but also the mixed-flow of the gas-liquid fluid in the system. So, it is very necessary to study its operational characteristics. In this study, the low pressure heaters (LP heaters) in the feedwater system are simulated. Firstly, the models are built using the simulation software JTopmeret and debugged on the simulation platform SimExec. The results are then compared with the design parameters. Finally, the comparison results are analyzed. The simulation results show that the operation parameters of the simulation models are consistent with the design parameters of the system, which proves that the simulation models of the LP heaters are correct. Thus, the simulation is able to provide guidance for the operation analysis, the equipment optimization and the system debugging of the feedwater system.
