Prediction of Mine Accidents Based on Fractal Theory

Article Preview

Abstract:

The mine accident prediction model was established on the basis of the fractal theory. The model has made an accurate check by the existing accident data. The predict results are 73 and 45, and the average relative error rate is 4.8%, which is rather satisfactory than ever compared to the actual data. Finaly, the example based on the model is used to make a prediction to the accidents numbers in June 2012-August 2012, and the predict results are 48, 43 and 44.
