New Analytical Equations for Evaluating Intrusion Rate of Contaminant Soil Vapor into Buildings from Double Soil Systems

Article Preview

Abstract:

It is difficult for Johnson and Ettinger model to predict the intrusion rate of organic vapor from double soil systems into buildings. Here new analytical equations were derived, which were different from those of Johnson and Ettinger model. These new equations were verified by Eclipse 2003a, and the results indicated that new equations were valid.
