Implement and Development of the Principle on Voltage Quality Control in 110kV-Substation

Abstract:

This paper addresses the research on the Voltage Quality Control (VQC) for the 110kV-substation. The VQC with ‘Nine District-Circuit Diagram’ strategy utilizes two parameters, voltage and reactive power, to realize the integrated control of the high-voltage-side reactive power and the low-voltage-side target voltage of the transformer. A practical example analysis is involved and its computing results show that it is essential to control the busbar voltage within the operational range, while keeping the reactive power in the operational range as far as possible.
